St Audries Park are quickly becoming one of most popular wedding venues to attend. The stunning grounds and beautiful Georgian architecture makes it a stunning venue to have as your wedding venue and it is every photographers dream to take photos there. Due to the versatility of the venue, no two weddings at St Audries are the same, we have been fortunate enough to been the photographers for weddings at the onsite St Etheldreda’s Church, the Orangery and in the main reception room. While the staff at St Audries excel at making every wedding run smoothly, the location and setting ensure that any bride and groom will have many, many wonderful photos as memories of their day.
St Audries Park Wedding – Adam and Samantha
Adam and Samantha held their ceremony in the Orangery at St Audries Park and after hosting their guests with drinks on the lawn and partying in to the early hours in the main house, they had the most wonderful day and beautiful wedding photos to help them remember their wedding at St Audries Park for years to come.
Following their wedding, we were delighted to receive these kind words.
My wife Samantha and I got married recently and were so happy with our choice of Matt Sims as our photographer.
We did a bit of research on the internet first and found Matt’s prices to be very competitive and also his website and gallery looked very impressive. After a few emails, I was really pleased that Matt wanted to meet up in person at the wedding venue, even though it was quite a distance for him to travel. Whilst there, we discussed ideas for photographs, then to my amazement I found out that he stayed there for a couple hours after we left to practice some shots, all off his own back.
I was impressed that on the big day itself, Matt was there early already taking venue shots. Both me and my wife got ready at our venue, but in separate rooms (obviously!) and Matt and his wife/helper rushed from room to room making sure they got all the shots that we wanted, plus a lot more great ideas as well. I especially liked the fact that although we posed for a few shots, we were mainly left to get ready and he just snapped away without disrupting us too much.
For the rest of the day, Matt took a huge amount of photos, some formal, some informal. He organised things perfectly for the formal photos, being in control without bossing everyone about, the perfect mix really, just what we wanted. He went above and beyond and was seen doing things from lying on the grass just to get a better angle or breaking out a step ladder from somewhere for some high angled shots!
Everyone at our wedding praised Matt even before we got the photos back and a couple friends of ours have already started looking into booking him for their own wedding.
After the wedding day itself, Matt kept in close contact and kept us in the loop re our photos. A really nice touch was when he invited us into his home to view the photos from the disc on his TV. This was very exciting and gave Matt an idea of the photos we wanted included in the album that we were purchasing off him. When the album/photos did arrive, we were absolutely completely happy with them. Having done photography myself at College I feel I know a little about photography and I can honestly say that I would give our photos 10 out of 10. We had such a great mixture of colour and black and white, of contempary and formal and all very crisp and clear. He even managed to catch a couple decent ones of me smiling, which is a feat in itself!
As you have probably guessed if you have read the above, I couldn’t recommend Matt more highly, he was literally perfect for our needs and ticked every box that we wanted ticked, all whilst being very friendly, polite, easy to contact and smart. We now have the perfect photographs to remind us of our perfect day.
Thanks Matt, I am so grateful.”
